Get ready to enjoy an amazing weekend and be part of the Anglo / German Festival of Fun. Enjoy the marvelous sightseeing, shopping and atmosphere, which Cologne and Bonn have to offer. Maybe take a trip on the Rhein or visit Phantasialand (The German answer to Disneyland).
Experience a fun filled action packed weekend together with leading dance schools and clubs from UK and Germany. Savour the local food and culture, whilst making new friends.
On Sunday, you will be part of a superb day filled with a spectacle of music, rhythm, colour, costumes, and quality dancing. Imagine the feeling as you step onto the dance floor in the large historic and glamourous venue of the Steyler Monastery. (No panic, the monks won’t be competing and the priests aren’t judging).
You’ll soon discover that although it’s an ISTD Medallist festival, which is a qualifying heat for Blackpool, it’s a festival with a difference. The atmosphere is simply “Fantabulous”!
The event is jam packed with competitions for all ages and categories in Ballroom, Latin American, Classical Sequence, Disco Freestyle and Club Style. There are loads of solo qualifying and non-qualifying events, making it almost like a Pro-Am competition, and naturally there’s loads of couple’s events.
During the Sunday, you (and your teacher) will be dancing your socks off. Then in the evening…It’s Party Time! After a quick brush and freshen up, it’s off to Euro Dance Center to party!
You’ll discover there’s a large Cocktail Bar, a massive ballroom, oodles of fun and good music waiting for you. The best is there is a local hotel that gives a reduced rate for those attending the festival.
